Hope you have all had a good summer break and ready for a new year within scouting.
We will be starting back on Monday 12 September and will meet in the hall at usual time of 7.30pm.
On Monday 19 September you are invited to our Scout AGM, which will take place in the hall at 7.30. The AGM is not only a requirement of the organisation, but is also an opportunity to hear what has gone on during the past year in the 3 different sections and also a chance to meet other members of Basford Scout Group.
I would also like to mention that on Saturday 17 September Scouts from across the District have been invited to join Newcastle Council for their Food Festival.
The event will take place between 10am and 3pm, and Scout Leaders are planning several different activities during this time. We would very much like as many scouts to join us and support this event. If you could confirm next Monday if your scout could attend and support us with this event, and what time they can attend that would be great.
