This years St Georges day is on the 24th April, we will be meeting in the Queens Gardens @ 2:30pm.

We are looking for leaders for our Scout section, If you would like to give something back to the community contact our GSL Ian.

The District are organising a Hike for Scouts across the district, details enclosed on the attached letter.
If your Scout would like to attend, but they are unable to attend for the whole weekend, but can come just for the Saturday, then this is fine, they can be collected at an appropriate time on the Saturday night, or can be collected earlier on the Sunday if they have other places to be. We can be accommodating to individual scout needs, just speak to us (Tracy or Ian).

We have again been invited to join another local Scout group and work with the Park Ranger at the above setting. We did this activity last year and the Scouts who took part really enjoyed themselves, and took a great deal away from the experience, and some excellent shelters were built. (we’ll see if they are still there!) We hope that scouts will come and get involved with this activity and support and learn more about the conservation work going on locally.

I have booked for scouts to go to Stoke Ski Centre, Festival Park, next week.

Details as follows –

Time -7.30pm-8.30pm – arrive at 7.15 to get boots and ski’s and be ready for a 7.30pm start.

Cost – £8.50 per scout (please bring correct change if possible)

Please meet at the Ski Centre, with scouts wearing appropriate clothing for the activity and for the weather conditions.
(Warm clothing/coats/gloves/thick socks are essential)

Parents/guardians can stay and watch the scouts or stay and have a drink in the cafe within the Ski Centre.

Hi all,
I have organised for us to go to the Stoke Ski Centre on Monday. Details as follows –
Date –    Mon 1st Feb 2016
Time –    meet at 6.45 for a 7 pm start- finish approx. 9pm
Where – Stoke Ski Centre, Festival Park, Etruria
Cost – £12.75 per person – (cost includes approx 1 hour 20 mins ski-ing session with instructors on hand followed by a 30 mins tubing session)

The last meeting for this year will be at Tenpin bowling Festival park.
Monday 14th, arrive at 6:45pm for a 7pm start.
Approx finish is 9:00pm, cost is £7 – includes 2 games and a drink (Group contributing on top of this cost).
