Six Scouts from Newcastle (including our own Charlotte) were invited to Windsor for the St Georges day Celebration.
HRH Duke of Kent and Bear Grylls spent time meeting and chatting to all at the parade in Winsor on the 27th April.

Monday will be our last night before the summer holidays. 007 Themed :o)

The Scout District 5-a-side football competition will take place on Saturday 5th January 2013 at Keele University Sports Hall, between 1pm and 4pm.
Please bear in mind that the Cubs event will be running during the morning and could run over slightly.
Each team to have five players plus two subs.
Scouts who wish to take part but cannot make up a full team send them along and will try to make up a full team with willing Scouts from other troops.
Entry will be free and if parents wish to come along then …
Next Tuesday (3rd December) we will be doing the ‘Cake in a Mug’ challenge, so please can the Scouts bring with them an Egg and a Large coffee mug that is Microwave safe.

Hi all,
Its getting close to that time of year again and on Friday 7th-Sunday 9th December 2012 we will be joining the 15th St Giles and St Georges Scout group on there annual Christmas Crash camp.
This will run along very similar lines to last year, except we will be camping at Kibblestone and have use of the Fox Glenn. We will be running some relaxed activities for the Scouts to do (and Explorers) and some not so relaxed – the idea is for us all to get together and have …
Monday was Halloween party night, with the Scouts enjoying Apple bobbing and wrap the Mummy games to name a few. Well done to all Scouts who were invested on Monday night and as promised here are the positions for the District, Division and County badges on the right hand sleeve of the uniform.
