Remembrance Sunday 2018

8 November 2018

Reminder for Sunday!

It’s Remembrance Sunday.

It’s 100 years since the end of WW1 and Scouting groups all over the country are coming together to parade and remember. This year we are included in the biggest parade we have done so far. This includes Porthill, St Wulstans, Basford, Centurion Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.

Hoping for it to be the largest parade to date, please please make every effort to attend!

So I’m asking all members of Basford Scout Group to attend the parade this year.

Meeting; St Barnabas Church, Bradwell (by the shops) at 10am.

Collection; St Marks Church, Basford (Basford Park Road) around 12:15.

Full uniform please, this includes ironed shirt, neatly rolled neckerchiefs, black shoes. NO trainers, NO jeans. Warm layers underneath your uniform and gloves.

Bring a coat and carry it, we will only be wearing coats if it’s raining.
