On Saturday 20th September 2014, the Newcastle Scout District will be holding an event in Newcastle to raise money for the Douglas Macmillian Hospiceand to raise the profile of Scouting in Newcastle. Basford Scouts will be at the Brampton Park from 10am and later by the Guildhall and Market Cross in the Town Centre until 3pm.
It would be great if the Scouts attended and joined in with the activities we have set up in the Brampton. We will be joined by both our neighbors Porthill Scouts and St Wulstans Scouts.

For our first night back we have planned for some watersports activities – details are on the planner, at Peak Pursuits in Astbury near Congleton. So we can get the most out of the time there, Gaz and Becky have kindly booked a two hours session there for us.
